Case filed against hotel builder

Pondicherry April 21. The Superintendent of Police (North wing), V. J. Chandran, said here today that following a complaint from a hydrogeologist of Pondicherry Agriculture department, a case was registered under the Indian Penal code against an entrepreneur who had been allegedly constructing a hotel project on the seashore to the detriment of underground water table and for disobodience to the repeated notices served by the department to refrain from disturbing the water source.
