100 Cong. workers from Kodagu join JD (S)

Bangalore April 21. Over 100 Congress workers of Kodagu District today joined the Janata Dal (Secular) in the presence of the former Prime Minister, H.D. Deve Gowda, MP.

They were led by Shashidhar, a rebel Congress member of the Kodagu Zilla Panchayat. Those who joined the Janata Dal (S) said they were disgusted with the affairs of the Congress in their district. The State Janata Dal (S) President, Siddaramaiah, the former MLC, A.K. Subbaiah, and the former Minister, D. Manjunath, were among those who admitted the new entrants.
