Housewife dies in accident A housewife, Ghousia Begum (40), died on Saturday following an accidental fall from the scooter she was travelling on along with her son as the vehicle went into a skid at Yacharam on Saturday. The Yacharam police said that while the woman was brought dead to the Osmania General Hospital, her son, Anwar, sustained injuries. The victims were residents of Mallikarjunanagar in L.B. Nagar. Four women succumb to burns In separate incidents, four women, who suffered accidental burns during the last one week, died on Saturday at the OGH. Bhagyavati (28) of Tappachabutra and Saina (17) of Rizwan colony, who sustained burns under the police stations limits of Tappachabutra and Rajendranagar respectively on April 18 died in the hospital on Saturday. A 23-year-old housewife, Anasuya of Sriramnagar, who suffered burns on April 19 under the Banjara Hills police station limits, also died yesterday. In another case, a housewife, Janaki Bai (35) of Puranapool, who received burns on April 17, under the Hussaini Alam police station limits, died on Saturday while undergoing treatment. Labourer knocked down by train A labourer, Niranjan (50), died on the spot when he was hit by the Falaknuma train on Saturday at Jamai Osmania railway station while crossing the railway track. The Kachiguda railway police said that the victim was a native of Kollapur in Mahbubnagar district.
