ISD rates set to fall

New Delhi April 22 . International long distance telephony tariffs are set to fall significantly with the Bharti group announcing up to 50 per cent reduction in call charges.

It has decided to charge Rs. 24 a minute for an ISD call to the U.S. and American subcontinent during peak hours compared to Rs. 40 being charged by the Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL), as and when the company launches its services on a commercial basis. — PTI
