Militants form joint panel

Jammu April 28. To intensify militant activities in south of Pir Panjal ahead of the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorist outfits — Jaish-e-Mohmmad, Lashker-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen — have set up a Joint Coordination Forum (JCF) to work unitedly, official sources said.

The forum, headed by a top commander, had been set up with the aim to intensify attacks in Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Udhampur, Kathua and Jammu district, the sources told PTI here today. A meeting of top commanders was held in Surankote hills recently where the JCF was set up.
