4 children hurt in freak mishap

CHENNAI April 28. In a freak mishap, four children were hurt when a papaya plant fell on them at Vandalur on Sunday.

The children, aged between 10 and three, were sleeping on the courtyard of their house in Otteri Extension, Vandalur, when the plant fell on them. They were first rushed to Chromepet Government Hospital and later admitted to the Government General Hospital with head injuries. Doctors said their condition was stable.
