The electoral cake

Sir, — The Telugu Desam Party and the Trinamool Congress do not mean business. If they were serious in what they said, they should have joined the Opposition and voted against the Government on the censure motion. They only want to further their electoral interests by projecting themselves as secular parties. Obviously, they want to have the cake and eat it too.

P. Chandrasekhar,

Kochi
