The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Sangita Dhingra Sehegal, had on Monday sent the Reliance vice-president, A.N. Sethuraman, and its general manager for corporate affairs, Shankar Adawal, to judicial custody rejecting their bail applications. The Additional Sessions Judge, R.K. Gauba, granted bail to them on their furnishing personal bonds of Rs. 10 lakhs each with two sureties for the like amount. The judge asked the two to surrender their passports immediately to the CMM court and not to leave the country without prior permission.
