As part of his assignment, Sharma will have a tough task when Thailand participates in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Trophy, in Singapore. The ACC Trophy is scheduled to be held from July 11 to 21. The seasoned cricketer has had a fairly good record as a coach. After falling out of contention from the National team, Sharma played for various Ranji teams and is currently the coach-cum-player of Rajasthan. During his three years with the team, Rajasthan twice won the Central Zone championship. Sharma has played 79 first class matches, scoring 2441 while as a bowler, he has 201 wickets to his credit.
