"We remain very concerned about it and we continue to urge the U.S. Government to actually work with the Indian Government to take steps to stop the violence,'' the Commission Chairman, Michael Young, said at a news conference at the National Press Club here on Monday. "We have done more than just express concern'' about the goings-on in Gujarat, Mr. Young said and made the point that in March the Commission had issued a statement not only taking note with "great concern'' the Gujarat violence but also urging the U.S. to help India foster a "climate of religious tolerance''.
