Sir, For the past few years there has been a rapid increase in the use of disposable plastic. Everytime one visits a marriage/ party/fair, one wonders what would happen to all the plastic cups, plates, etc. left behind. This is a very positive move by Tamil Nadu and we hope such a ban materialises. The move can favour similar efforts in other States. We hope that the ``environment'' wins the battle.
