Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is an excellent piece of work initiated by the Jayalalithaa Government to create a better environment and increase awareness among the public by banning `non-reusable plastics'. The government should make the plastic products manufacturers partners in improving the environment. The manufacturers also should work out a viable solution. They should feel and show that they are more concerned about helping keep the environment good than the government. I would like to assure the TNPMA that there are practical solutions to make plastics reusable. With this reuse effort the plastic manufacturer can even generate more employment with available methods.
K.C. Veeranna Setty,
