Altair Engg acquires AMET

BANGALORE: Altair Engineering, an international product development and consulting and technology firm, has acquired a majority stake in Italian AMET (Applied Mechatronics Engineering and Technology). The acquisition would enable Altair to enlarge its software development know-how in the mechatronics and also its engineering base, allowing the company to reach a broader target audience.
