Pak. troops resort to firing

Jammu May 12. Pakistani troops resorted to shelling and firing on Indian positions along the Line of Control and the International Border in Jammu division since last evening without causing any damage on the Indian side, official sources said here today.

Pak. troops resorted to mortar shelling from across the LoC on defence position in the Ser-Makhani area of the Nowshera sector in Rajouri district late last evening.

Pak. rangers continued shelling forcing the Indian troops to retaliate.

The causality on the Pakistani side in the retaliatory shelling could not be ascertained, they said. — PTI
