Four-nation tourney: Indian team selection today

NEW DELHI MAY 13. The 18-member Indian hockey team, scheduled to tour Australia for a double-leg four-nation tournament in Adelaide and Melbourne by the end of the month, will be announced on Tuesday.

The selectors Aslam Sher Khan, Iqbaljit Singh, government nominee Jalaluddin and the IHF secretary, Jyothikumaran, watched the probables during the selection trials here on Monday.

"We will announce the team tomorrow for the Australian tour after another round of trials in the morning. We are also going to select another team shortly for a four-nation tournament to be held in Germany from June 14 to 16'', said Jyothikumaran.
