Letters to the Editor
Sir, In Kashmir, we are facing a proxy war waged by Pakistan which is encouraging separatism. Otherwise, the people of Jammu and Kashmir want to live in peace as a part of India. Our case is strong and the people are on our side. When elections are held in the State, the Government should invite international observers and seek their views on the fairness of the polls. We would be able to expose Pakistan's designs and convince the international community of our stand and genuine concern to bring peace, prosperity and development to the State. K.Z.Amani, Aligarh
