Plus-Two results today

CHENNAI May 16. The results of the Plus-Two examinations, held in March 2002, will be released on Friday.

According to the Directorate of Government Examinations, a total of 4,29,867 school students and 69,225 private candidates appeared for the examinations held from March 3 to 26.

The tabulated marklist will be distributed to the heads of schools the same day, while the results and marklists of private candidates released at a later date.

The results will also be available at the following web sites from Friday noon: www.results.southindia.com, www.tnagar.com, www.eazyadmit.com, www.guruathome.com, www.chennaionline.com, www.apollosoftlab.com, www.webulagam.com, www.chennai.com, www.chennailistings.com, www.eresults.info, www.galatta.com, wwwlteledata-usa.com, www.mukil.com and www.tiic.com.

Students can also access the results in Airtel mobile phone using the SMS service, providing their registration number to `400', and by calling Juzzfone at (044) 8209999.

The Director of Government Examinations, C. Palanivelu, said the applications seeking photo copies of answersheets in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, would be available at the CEO offices in districts, the Joint Director (Education) at Pondicherry, the regional deputy directors of government examinations at Tirunelveli, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Cuddalore and Vellore. In Chennai, the applications would be sold at the DEO offices in Chennai North, South, East and Centre, besides at the Examinations Directorate office in DPI complex.

The applications, costing Rs.20 per subject, would be available from May 18 to 23 (except on Sunday). Separate applications should be submitted for each subject. The forms should be submitted to the offices by 5 p.m on May 24. Only those who apply for photocopies of answersheets would be eligible to seek revaluation later.
