Last date for seeking Inter answer scripts is May 30

HYDERABAD May 16. Applications for the supply of photo copies of valued answer scripts, for revaluation and recounting are available at the office of the Intermediate Board at Nampally and the offices of the Regional Inspection Officer on payment of Rs. 2 for each application.

The BIE Commissioner and Secretary, B. Kripanandam, said in a press release today that for the first time an Intermediate student could apply for all the three options or any of them. Revaluation and supply of photo copy of the answer sheet was being made available by the board this year.

Application for recounting of marks would be in `white' colour and along with the recounting fee of Rs. 100 per paper in form of DD/bankers cheque drawn in favour of BIE Secretary, the filled form could be submitted to the office on or before May 30.

Application for photocopy of answer scripts would be in `pink' colour and along with a fee of Rs. 600 per paper in the form of DD/bankers cheque drawn in favour of BIE Secretary, it should be submitted to the principal of the junior college concerned where the student had studied. The due date is May 30.

Application for revaluation of answer script is available in `green' colour and along with a fee of Rs. 1,000 per paper in the form of DD/bankers cheque drawn in favour of BIE Secretary. The filled applications should be submitted to the principals of the junior colleges. The last date is May 30.

On receipt of the application for revaluation, the BIE Secretary would constitute a revaluation board, consisting of three lecturers, to do the job and marks would be awarded jointly.

These marks are final and if the candidate gets higher marks or lower marks than what was originally valued, the marks awarded by the revaluation board are final.

These would find a place in the memorandum of marks certificate. The BIE has advised parents and candidates to review the options before they apply for revaluation.
