Monsoon advances

PUNE MAY 16. Southwest monsoon has further advanced to north Andaman sea and more parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, according to Meteorological department sources. Many parts in Andaman and Nicobar islands and a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa and Jharkhand experienced heavy rainfall.
