In a clarification to the news items published in these columns, Mr. Subramanian said that the advertisement did not compel or coerce any purchaser to go for the prepaid card without thoroughly scrutinising either terms or details. ``The usage of either a pre-paid card or a recharge card/coupon is a deemed acceptance given by the intending purchaser, for any information displayed on the pre-paid card which would bind the customer,'' he said. With regard to the revision in prices of the re-charge cards and the reduction in the talktime, Mr. Subramanian stated the revised maximum retail price, along with talktime and administration fee, had been carried out prominently on the packaging of the recharge cards which was available for any intending buyer to scrutinise before purchase.
