Sankaran, which is playing a mediatory role between the Government and the People's War Group, has appealed to the outfit "to respond positively, at the earliest, to the invitation for talks'' extended by the Government. The CCC said, "Although all suggestions given by the Committee have not been fully adopted by the Government, in actual practice, there have been no encounters.
