LTTE, Govt. hold talks

COLOMBO MAY 21. A top official in charge of the peace process flew to northern Sri Lanka today for a meeting with the LTTE leaders in a bid to resolve a wrangle over public transport rights on a key highway connecting the mainland with Jaffna peninsula. Bernard Goonetilleke, a senior diplomat who heads the Peace Secretariat, flew to the LTTE political headquarters in Killinochchi.
