Sir, Killing of innocent men, women and children by anybody deserves universal condemnation. As a human being, I strongly condemn the killings at Godhra and other parts of Gujarat and the recent killings in Kashmir. Can religion rest upon the foundation of hate? If the answer is ``no,'' we should cast off our anger, prejudice and hate, and embrace every individual as our own kith and kin. Akhtar Hussain Aftab, Patna
