Clinton for reconciliation

Singapore May 24. The former U.S. President, Bill Clinton, today stressed the importance of ``reconciliation'' between India and Pakistan.

He referred to the Indo-Pak. standoff during a speech at the National Achievers' Congress.

Economic cooperation among India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, could give the region the same potential as that of China in the next 50 years, Mr. Clinton said. — AFP
