CHENNAI, MAY 25. Just over five days from now, the biggest sporting event there is the World Cup of football will kick off in Korea and for the next four weeks sportslovers' attention will be riveted on Japan and Korea. As it has always done in the past, The Sportstar, India's leading sports magazine and a sister publication of The Hindu, will come out with a special issue, dated June 1 available in the stands from May 29 which will be a comprehensive guide to the World Cup. Featuring five superstars of the sport on the cover and a complete schedule of matches on a specially designed poster, The Sportstar's World Cup bumper issue will be available at the usual cover price of Rs. 10. Apart from specially commisioned articles throwing light on various aspects of the world's most popular game, the issue also features previews of teams from four continents, profiles of 40 leading stars and 12 top coaches and a wealth of statistics.
