Letters to the Editor
Sir, Refer to your Editorial "Gesture towards de-escalation" (May 24). While I do not expect you to support the Government, to imply that we are at fault vis-a-vis Pakistan is indeed surprising. Pervez Musharraf has time and again proved to be untrustworthy. India has displayed Biblical patience as far as Pakistan is concerned. It is time we called the Pakistani bluff. I am not advocating adventurism, but let no one underestimate our strength and resolve.
Ratish Nair,
Janaki Netrakanti,
