Hoax call

NEW DELHI MAY 26. An anonymous telephone call that gun shots were heard at the Parliament House complex tonight prompted a security alert in the VVIP area by the Delhi Police.

``The call was received by the Police Control Room saying the firing was taking place at Parliament House,'' the DCP of New Delhi area M.K. Meena told PTI.

Senior police officials, including Mr. Meena, rushed to the spot and found no such incident taking place. — PTI
