Militants kill police official

SRINAGAR MAY 27. Militants killed a police constable in the heart of Srinagar today afternoon. Police sources told The Hindu that some unidentified militants struck from behind and killed on the spot the official identified as Gulzar Ahmad in the busy Lal Chowk area of Srinagar.
