Letters to the Editor
Sir, The people of India have a right to know the reality of Kashmir free from one-sided official versions. Feeding seemingly nationalistic half-truths to the public is sheer folly and will make it difficult to solve the dispute justly. Any number of talks between India and Pakistan cannot solve this problem. Instead of trying to remote-control Kashmiris, we have to search for a just and democratic solution with the Kashmiris as partners.
M. Haris,
