Journalist dead

MADURAI MAY 30. M. Sornamani (66), the founder-Editor of Maduraimani, a Tamil eveninger, died here on Wednesday following a brief illness. Earlier, he worked as a reporter for Dinamalar, a Tamil daily. He also founded the political Tamil weekly, Silamboli. The former president of the All-India Federation of Small and Medium Newspapers is survived by wife, four sons and two daughters.
