W.Bengal boy scores a double first in CET

BANGALORE May 30. Arko Nasipuri of West Bengal has secured the first rank in engineering and medical streams of the Common Entrance Test in the non-Karnataka category.

Lalith Kumar of Jharkhand and Sameer Milind Kelkar of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, have bagged the second and third ranks in engineering. Pratik Mittal of Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, and Venkata Nagarjuna Maturu of Andhra Pradesh have bagged the second and third ranks in medicine.

Following is the list of top 20 rank holders in engineering (non-Karnataka): Arko Nasipuri, 80.27 per cent; Lalit Kumar, 78.88; Sameer Milind Kelkar, 76.66; Shanthanu Bhardwaj, 74.86; Karuna Bansal, 74.72; Adusumilli Praveen, 74.30; Kumar Saurabh, 73.88; Prateek K.Gupta, 73.88; Ankit Gupta, 73.61; Krishna Kumar, 73.05; Rony Joseph, 72.63; Anurag Shrivastava, 72.22; Anando Maitra, 72.08; Manoj Kumar Manu, 71.80; Sombuddha Ghosh, 71.66; Ashok Patel, 71.52; Ashwin Ananda Mishra, 71.38; Ruchi Puri, 71.11; Shashank Sen, 71.11; and Nishith Kumar, 70.97 per cent.

The top 20 in medicine: Arko Nasipuri, 89.02 per cent; Pratik Mittal, 87.36; Venkata Nagarjuna Maturu, 86.94; Sarvpreet Pal Singh Ahluwalia, 86.25; Sadre Alam, 85.13; Somnath Prasad Jena, 85; Surbhi, 84.58; Arshdeep, 84.58; Aarchi Mangal, 83.19; Sumeet Singh Dang, 83.05; Vikram Khanna, 82.63; Shashank Sen, 82.63; Pradeep Dhakarwal, 82.5; Kashish Goel, 82.5; Shraddha Jatwani, 82.22; Kumar Vishal, 81.94; Ashik Hassan U.C., 81.80; Sandeep Mohanan, 81.52; Sitarasmi Rath, 81.25; and Deepti Bansal, 81.11 per cent.
