Opinion - Letters to the Editor

Stand tall

Sir, — Had India made war its first option this war-like situation would have never arisen. Pakistan would have to be very daring to tamper with the Indian sovereignty had India been aggressive in its military approach. Often in India, people talk of peace. Let those good samaritans be assured that peace shall not be bestowed upon those who talk and ask for peace. Peace will come to those who stand tall in front of their enemy and say, "we want peace". Disgusting is the fact that we do not value the life of our soldiers who are getting killed day in and day out.

S. Vijay Kumar,
Hyderabad
