French language students yet to receive mark sheets

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI May 30 . Several students who took French as their language subject are yet to receive their Plus-two mark sheets in the city, as the Government Examinations Directorate, has not got them printed after rectifying an error.

Though initial reports said hundreds of students were affected all over the State, some of them subsequently got their mark sheets. The delay in issue of the document was attributed to the failure to include the French marks in the preparation of results. Today, some students of St.Dominic's AI Higher Secondary School, St.Thomas Mount, said they were informed that the mark sheets would be issued only on Tuesday. This would jeopardise their chances of getting college seats, as the admission process was going on fast and some colleges were announcing closure of courses, parents said.
