BANGALORE MAY 31. A fire broke out at the godown of a transport agency on J.C. Road in S.J. Park police limits on Friday morning.

According to police, chemicals meant for making incense sticks caused the rapid spread of the fire, which is said to have been caused by short-circuit. The damage is said to be around Rs. 50 lakh.

Six fire tenders were pressed into service to contain the blaze.

The S.J. Park police have registered a case and are investigating.
