Sir, The concern expressed by Pakistan for "self-determination" in Kashmir raises the question: what about "their" Kashmir? For that matter what about the Chinese-occupied Kashmir? One sure-fire way to get all parties to show their true colours would be for India (the only constitutional democracy in the area) to announce a firm commitment to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir at a predetermined date, provided all countries occupying portions of Kashmir commit themselves to holding it on the same date.
