Supplementary SSLC exam schedule

CHENNAI June 4. The special supplementary examination for higher secondary candidates, who had failed in one or two subjects in the March/April 2002 examinations, will begin on June 26.

Similarly, the supplementary examination for the SSLC/OSLC, Matriculation and Anglo Indian streams will begin on July 3.

The Government Examinations department released the full schedule of the special supplementaries today, which is as follows:

Higher Secondary: Forenoon session from 10 a.m. and afternoon session from 2 p.m.:

June 26: (F.N) Language - I and (A.N) Languge II; June 27: (F.N) English - I and (A.N) English II;

June 28: (F.N) Advanced Languages or Foundation Science; and (A.N) Home Science/General and Vocational Subjects viz., Typewriting Tamil and English/Office Secretaryship practical I- Typewriting (Tamil and English)/Business Machines and Computer Programming Practical - I Typewriting (English).

June 29 (F.N) Physics/History and (A.N) Accountancy/Siddha; July 1 (F.N) Chemistry/Fine Arts/Logic and (A.N) Psychology/Vocational Subject-I Office Secretaryship Practical-II Shorthand English and Tamil. July 2: (F.N) Mathematics/Zoology and (A.N) Political Science; July 3: (F.N) Biology/Botany/Business Maths/Environmental Studies and (A.N) Commerce; July 4: (F.N) Economics and (A.N) Sociology/Ayurveda

July 5: (F.N) Philosophy/Vocational Subjects Theory under Vocational Stream components subjects Theory under General Stream Computer Science/Electronics/Office Management/Electrical Domestic Appliances/Electrical Motor Rewinding/General Machinist/Radio and TV Maintenance and Repairs/Banking/General Insurance.

July 6: (F.N) Statistics/Indian Culture and (A.N) - Geography.

SSLC/OSLC (Forenoon from 10 a.m. and Afternoon from 2 p.m.):

July 3: (F.N) Language - I Tamil or Mother tongue also for OSLC Tamil-I and (A.N) Language Paper-II Tamil or mother tongue.

July 4: (F.N) English - I and (A.N) English - II; July 5: (F.N) Mathematics and (A.N) OSLC Main Language (Sanskrit/Arabic/Persian); July 6: (F.N) Science and (A.N) OSLC Main Language - II

July 8: (F.N) Social Science and (A.N) OSLC Advanced Main Language - III.

Matriculation: (F.N from 10 a.m. and A.N from 2 p.m.)

July 3: (F.N) Language - I and (A.N) Language - II; July 4: (F.N) English - I and (A.N) English - II

July 5: (F.N) Mathematics - I and (A.N) Mathematics - II; July 6: (F.N) Science - I and (A.N) Science - II; July 8: (F.N) History and Civics and (A.N) Geography.

Anglo Indian:

July 3: (F.N) Languages; July 4: (F.N) English - I and (A.N) English II; July 5: (F.N) Mathematics-I and (A.N) Mathematics II; July 6: (F.N) Science - I and (A.N) Science II; July 8: (F.N) History and Civics) and (A.N) Geography.
