Assembly lobby gutted

Dehra Dun June 6. A major fire early this morning gutted the main lobby of the Uttaranchal Assembly.

The fire, which broke out due to a short circuit and engulfed the entire lobby within minutes, was noticed by a security guard at 4.45 a.m.

No damage was caused to the adjoining Assembly Hall. The blaze was brought under control within 20 minutes.
