Kolkata on alert

Kolkata June 8. The Union Home Ministry has alerted the West Bengal Government against a possible ISI-backed terrorist attack on Writers' Building, the State Secretariat, between June 10 and 15, according to the State Home Secretary, A.K. Deb.

Mr. Deb told PTI that the warning was received by the State Government from Intelligence Wing of the Union Home Ministry on Friday night. The State administration has taken all necessary precautions in and around the State secretariat.
