Gupta-Agarwal in lead

CALANGUTE (GOA) JUNE 9. Subhash Gupta and Sudhir Agarwal from Delhi were leading with 397 points at the end of 12 rounds of matches in the Agarwala Pairs event in inter-State bridge championship here on Sunday.

In view of little difference among the top contenders, a keen tussle for supremacy is in the offing with 3 more rounds to go.

The West Bengal pair of B. Das and S. Sarkar remained at the second place having 393 points.

The third spot was held by the father-son combination of R. Prahalad and R. Rajkumar with 382 points. Prahalad happens to be the youngest competitor in the field.
