Bhujbal meets MLAs

Bangalore June 9. Even as the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Vilasrao Deshmukh, left for Mumbai in the evening, the State's Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, arrived here for a meeting with the MLAs who have taken refuge here. Mr. Bhujbal, who belongs to the Nationalist Congress Party and holds the Home portfolio, held talks with the MLAs at the holiday resort where they have been lodged. He is leaving for Mumbai in the evening.

According to Congress sources, Mr. Deshmukh praised the role of the Karnataka Minister for Cooperation, D.K. Shivakumar, and the Minister for Tourism, Roshan Baig, in bringing the Congress and NCP MLAs to the City.
