Two Al-Qaeda men killed

SRINAGAR JUNE 9. Two suspected militants of the Al-Qaeda were killed in an encounter with the Army in the Drass sector, which has been witnessing a heavy shelling from across the border for the last five days. This is for the first time suspected Al-Qaeda militants have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Even as Army sources insisted that the militants looked like "Arab nationals'' and they belonged to the Al-Qaeda, police officers refused to confirm this.
