CBI raids 66 places

New Delhi June 11. In a nationwide swoop, the CBI today carried out searches at 66 places against Central Government officials allegedly involved in corrupt practices.

Among those whose premises were raided was the Income Tax Commissioner in Hyderabad. Cash in crores was seized from his house and office, CBI sources here said.

This is the second major drive of the agency in the past three months. The CBI had carried out extensive searches in March.
