Jawan killed in shelling

Jammu June 12. In the continuing shelling by Pakistani troops, an Army jawan was killed, another wounded and 25 houses and a hospital were damaged overnight and today in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said.

Pakistani troops fired mortar shells on the Indian positions in Laam, Bhawani and Jhanghar areas in Rajouri district's Noushera sector killing a jawan and wounding another.

Two houses and a civil hospital were damaged in Jhanghar area. Eleven houses were damaged in Ser, Bakhri, Sodi and Bhawani areas in Noushera sector.
