Mild tremors in Gujarat

New Delhi June 12 .Two earthquakes of slight intensity, each measuring four on the Richter scale rocked the Rann of Kachch area today, the Indian Meterological Department said here today.

The epicentre of the first quake, which occurred at 6.44 a.m. Another quake rocked the same area at 7.49 p.m.

The Rann of Kachch is highly quake-prone area and the devastating quake on January 26 last year took thousands of lives and destroyed property worth crores in the Western State.
