Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is with reference to the statement made by the United States Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, regarding the presence of Al-Qaeda terrorists in Kashmir. Mr. Rumsfeld should not have said that the terrorists were present in Kashmir if he was not sure of about it. At least now, the U.S. should stop playing a double game with Pakistan and India. Parimala reddy, Kurnool, A.P. Sir, Mr. Rumsfeld's attempt at downplaying the statements made by him in India regarding the Al-Qaeda, and eulogising Pakistan for its role in the anti-terrorism campaign speaks volumes about what the United States is up to. Tahir Ajaz, Aligarh, U.P.
