Al-Qaeda infiltration in Kashmir: Straw

LONDON JUNE 14. Going beyond the remarks of the U.S. Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, about the presence of Al-Qaeda activists near the Line of Control, the British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, has said ``they have infiltrated themselves into Kashmir.''

In an interview to BBC Radio 4, he said: ``Since we know that quite a number of Al-Qaeda have infiltrated the northern part of Pakistan, we have to have a working assumption that some of these have infiltrated into Kashmir.''
