India condemns blast

New Delhi June 14. India today strongly condemned the car bomb attack on the U.S. consulate in Karachi which has claimed 11 lives and said this was yet another terrorist act.

``It is very sad and very regrettable incident and we condemn it fully,'' the External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh told reporters after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security.

Stating that he was grieved and unhappy over the incident, he said the people of India sympathised with the victims and sent their condolences to the families of those killed.
