PM calls on President

New Delhi June 15. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, called on the President, K.R. Narayanan, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening.

Though Mr. Vajpayee's 50-minute meeting with the President was described as ``routine'', official sources said the Prime Minister briefed him about the current situation particularly along the Indo-Pakistan border as well as his recent visit to Kazakhstan.
