FBI inspects blast site

Islamabad June 15. FBI agents and other foreign experts today examined the site of a powerful car bomb outside the U.S. consulate in Karachi that killed 10 persons, officials said.

The 20-member team conducted a two-and-a-half hour investigation at the site and collected some evidence. "They took photographs and made a video of the surrounding areas and the spot of the attack," the officials added.

They interrogated the employees of the Marriott Hotel, security guards of the U.S. consulate and other private security guards.

Pakistani investigators did not rule out that they might be hunting for the same outfit responsible for the May 8 suicide bombing outside the Sheraton hotel in Karachi, which killed 11 French nationals and three Pakistanis.
