Two teenagers drowned

HYDERABAD June 16 . Two teenagers met a watery grave in Hussainsagar on Sunday morning when they tried to recover a cricket ball that fell into the lake.

According to information available, four boys were playing cricket at the People's Plaza, abutting the Hussainsagar lake when the ball fell into the water. In a bid to retrieve it, four boys, Nayeem, Taher Bin Moosa, Raju and Anand, stepped into the lake. While Taher Bin Moosa and Raju were drowned, the other two were rescued by passersby.

The bodies of the drowned boys were fished out later. The Saifabad police registered a case.
